WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Central Texas food pantry says it served 51 new families in the last two months as the cost of everyday necessities continues to squeeze household budgets.
Pantry leaders from across Central Texas met to begin preparing for the annual Food for Families drive.
Working families seeking helpAt Caritas of Waco, Executive Director Ann Owen said higher everyday costs are forcing some Central Texas families to make tough decisions.
