MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Midland Memorial Hospital has earned the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline(R) Regional Recognition Award for its part in a West Texas effort to improve care for patients having the most severe type of heart attack.

The award goes to hospitals that show a commitment to working alongside partner hospitals and emergency medical services to build a care system based on the latest research from the American Heart Association.
