WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The District Court of Travis County on June 19 announced its final judgement in favor of Judge Dianne Hensley, who had been disciplined by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for recusing herself from performing same-sex weddings.

Hensley, a Christian, declined to perform same-sex weddings on the basis of her faith.

To ensure local residents still had access to low-cost wedding ceremonies, she compiled a referral list of local officiants willing to officiate same-sex ceremonies at the same price.
