A San Antonio police officer riding a motorcycle conducting a funeral escort was hospitalized after a crash on the North Side, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

The two-vehicle crash happened Tuesday afternoon near U.S. Highway 281, San Antonio police said.

Details of the crash were not immediately available.
