TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Palestine man accused with his wife of stealing more than $170,000 from an Anderson County business is wanted after failing to appear for his federal plea hearing Tuesday.

Kenneth Edward Prater Jr., 49, was due to appear before Magistrate Judge K. Nicole Mitchell on Tuesday for a change of plea hearing.

After it was announced he did not appear, Mitchell said a warrant would be issued for his arrest.
