Game wardens rescue man who fell out of kayak at Lake Brownwood

Story, photo by Steve Nash - Special Contributor to BrownwoodNews.com Brown County Water Improvement District directors were updated on incidents at Lake Brownwood including the rescue of a kayaker on Lake Brownwood who was found clinging to a bridge pillar.

Water district general manager John Allen and Lake Patrol Chief Marcus Lively updated directors at their Tuesday, June 9 meeting.

Lively began by referencing the Memorial Day Weekend death of a 60-year-old woman who was found face down in two feet of water at Sandy Beach.
