PRESIDIO, Texas (KOSA) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 22. 4 kilograms of fentanyl concealed in the spare tire of a pickup truck at the Presidio Port of Entry.

According to CBP, officers found the narcotics during the early morning hours on July 15, after a man driving a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck applied for entry into the United States after crossing from Ojinaga, Mexico.

Officers used nonintrusive inspection technology, which revealed anomalies in the truck's spare tire, resulting a secondary inspection.
