LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Lubbock County Office of Emergency Management will host an amateur radio emergency communications exercise open to the public later this month.

The annual American Radio Relay League Amateur Radio Field Day will be held June 27-28 at the Lubbock County Emergency Operations Center, 719 Main St. The exercise runs from 10 a.m. Saturday through 4 p.m. Sunday.

Participating organizations include the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office Mobile Operations Vehicle Team, the West Texas Pathfinders, and members of the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, a county and state emergency communications program.
