A Las Vegas group called the Sassy Seniors has spent the past year showing up to community events across the valley dressed in pink and carrying pom-poms.

The group was founded by a woman named Kathy Yanke, who wanted to find others her age to do community work alongside.

She has since recruited about a dozen women who rotate in and out of events throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
