The Kerrville Public Utility Board will join more than 2,000 community-owned, not-for-profit electric utilities across the nation in celebrating Public Power Week, Oct. 4-10.
The week highlights the benefits of public power, including local control, reliable service, competitive rates and reinvestment in the community.
The American Public Power Association, the voice of not-for-profit, community-owned utilities that power 2,000 towns and cities nationwide, coordinates the annual national observance.
