Three Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office employees are facing criminal charges related to suspected improper sexual behavior at the county jail, Sheriff Joshua Ray said Friday.

The three face allegations of engaging in improper sexual activity with a person in custody at the facility, the sheriff said.

He fired two of the men and the third remains on administrative leave pending an investigation, but all knew the consequences of the acts alleged against them, Ray said.
