(Gray News) - WWE legend Ric Flair was hospitalized after falling outside of a Florida restaurant, according to multiple reports.

The 77-year-old retired American professional wrestler, whose real name is Richard Morgan Fliehr, said in an Instagram post Saturday that he spent the night in a Tampa hospital."Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers! I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger," Flair wrote in a post Saturday.

"Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am. I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me!"Flair had fallen outside a Wagamama restaurant in Tampa on Friday, cutting his head and eye, TMZ reported.
