Van Zandt County Jail has been found non-compliant with state standards due to incomplete staff training requirements.

VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The Van Zandt County Jail has been deemed non-compliant with state standards due to incomplete staff training.

According to a notice sent by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards on July 2, documents failed to show that all staff completed the required training.

One staff member fail to complete training for the fourth quarter of 2025 as well as the first and second quarter of 2026.
