LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Longview ISD announced Thursday it will provide eligible employees with one-time retention stipends.

The school said the stipends will be paid in January of next year.

For eligible returning employees, the amounts include: $2,000 for employees on the teacher and librarian/RN pay scale$2,250 for employees on the professional pay scale$1, 250 for hourly employeesThe school said eligible returning part-time employees will receive 50% of the one-time payment in their category.
