HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is charged with murder of his roommate over an argument about apartment rental payments in northwest Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Deputies say that 29-year-old Elijah Walker was charged with murder in the shooting death of 26-year-old Curtis Veazie at a complex in the 7700 block of W. Little York on Tuesday.

According to HCSO, deputies determined that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute about rental payments between Veazie and Walker, who were roommates.
