A McQueeney man noticed a disturbance near his home Monday that led him to assisting in a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement action, he and an ICE spokesperson said.
"On July 13, as ICE officers were attempting to make an arrest near Lake McQueeney, the individual fled into the lake," an ICE spokesperson said.
"At that time, a boat owner arrived and offered assistance by allowing ICE officers to board his vessel." Dalondo Moultrie is the assistant managing editor of the Seguin Gazette.
