For the safety of both staff and residents, all City of Fredericksburg buildings, facilities, and offices will now be closed on Thursday, July 16.

Previously on Thursday, the City had announced a late opening of noon, but that has now been revised.

Since the area remains in an Flash Flood Watch until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, officials have made the decision to close the following: City Hall, Animal Shelter, Gillespie County Health Division, Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, Law Enforcement Offices, Municipal Court, Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill.
