Emergency crews are responding after a small plane crashed into a home near the Covey Trails Airstrip on Monday, according to the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department.

The fire department said firefighters from Fulshear Simonton Fire Department, Community Volunteer Fire Department, and the Fort Bend County Hazardous Materials Team were dispatched to the scene.

Several law enforcement agencies are also responding, including the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, and the Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable's Office.
