TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - One local nonprofit is preparing to celebrate LGBTQ identify and community during this year's annual Rose City Pride, taking place Saturday, June 20, in Tyler.

Billy Diaz, president of Tyler Area Gays (TAG), said organizers have lined up more than 130 booths, six food trucks and a range of community services for the annual festivities."Pride is just a reminder that it is okay to be who you are to come as you are and to express that," he told East Texas Now, noting the movement still a lot of work to be done with acceptance.

More than 30 resources will be available on site, including mental health supports and health services offering free testing, Diaz said.
