TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - Pearl's Place is a well known and dedicated animal rescue in Bell County and they are facing mounting challenges.
One is that the city of Temple is forcing them to relocate as their property has been taken via eminent domain and they are having to close intake for the first time in years.
For more than 13 years, Pearl's Place has sat on Little River Road and over the last five years the owner says the city has slowly started to take pieces of their property until now.
