TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Amanda Davis has six children, including two sets of twins.

But 16 years ago, she says a medical emergency nearly prevented her family from ever being complete.

Davis suffered a life-threatening hemorrhage while pregnant with her youngest twins after being diagnosed with a complete placenta previa - a condition in which the placenta covers the cervix, creating a medical emergency at delivery.
