Comment0TEXAS CITY, Texas (KWTX) - A former Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) inmate is behind bars again after being accused of soaking fake mail with synthetic drugs and sending it to prisoners across the country.
The Texas Board of Criminal Justice Office of Inspector General arrested Diedrick Capers at his home in Texas City on June 2.
Capers' arrest served as part of a multi-agency investigation into a suspected drug-trafficking ring targeting correctional facilities nationwide, according to a TDCJ release.
