A dramatic scene unfolded on Friday afternoon when a Ford pickup truck lost control and crashed into a guardrail on Toll 49 in Tyler. The incident, which occurred at around 11:45 a.m., left one person seriously injured and hospitalized for immediate surgery.

According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle was the sole occupant of the vehicle and suffered unknown injuries.
