The specialized transport vehicle carrying the aerospace component attempted to make a southbound maneuver from Chandler Highway onto Loop 323 but was unable to complete the turn due to the oversized nature of its cargo. The obstruction created congestion for southbound motorists along the loop during the morning hours.

By mid-afternoon, personnel were able to guide the truck through the intersection successfully. Authorities reported that traffic resumed normal operations at approximately 12:15 p.m. after the vehicle cleared the roadway.

The same cargo continued its journey eastward across the region. Athens public safety officials documented the passage of the SpaceX rocket booster through their jurisdiction and provided escort services as it moved through town. Visual documentation from both Tyler and Athens showed identical cargo, confirming the oversized load was moving through the East Texas corridor.

The movement of large aerospace components through residential and commercial areas requires coordination between transportation companies and local authorities to manage traffic impacts and ensure safe passage of the specialized equipment.
