A deadly confrontation at an RV park in Cameron, Texas, has left one woman dead and another critically injured. The Milam County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene at around 2 a.m. Friday after reports of a disturbance at the 9000 block of FM 908, across from Apache Pass.
According to Lt. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department, detectives suspect that the incident may be related to domestic violence. However, it appears that the situation was not as severe initially, with no danger posed to the public at the time of the shooting. In contrast, [ABC13 Eyewitness News] reported a separate incident in southwest Houston involving a woman who was fatally shot and a man critically injured, which is believed to be unrelated.
The victim at the RV park suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene. The other individual involved, described as a male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, was transported to a hospital for treatment.
