A Seguin Fire Department ladder truck became the scene of an emergency Saturday evening after a car crashed into its side at an intersection in the city.

The wreck happened about 6:20 p.m. Saturday when a 2002 Honda Accord traveling south on North San Marcos Street reportedly ran a stop sign and hit the westbound truck on East Mountain Street, Seguin Police Lt. Mike McCann said.
