GILMER, Texas (KLTV) - Ismael Camara, a 6-foot-6, 260-pound offensive and defensive lineman for the Gilmer Buckeyes, has committed to play football at the University of Texas.

Camara, who is originally from France, announced his decision last week.

He said getting the commitment finalized allows him to shift his focus back to his team's goals."Get a decision out of the way and allows you to focus on what you want to do - is trying to go to the state championship? Yes sir, yes sir. I mean that's why, that's why I'm here. I'm going to have a different role next season so I'm trying to be, I'm trying to get ready," Camara said.
