COMANCHE COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Multiple fires near Comanche prompted a response from four fire departments Sunday night after flames threatened nearby structures and reached heights of up to 6-8 feet.

The Comanche Volunteer Fire Department was paged around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, for a wildfire along Highway 16, north of Comanche.
