The Fredericksburg High School varsity boys cross country team captured its second consecutive district championship Wednesday at the District 27-4A Cross Country Meet at Bandera City Park.

The Billies finished with 48 points to edge Davenport, which placed second with 50.

Kerrville Tivy was third with 52. "The boy's team had a great day as we narrowly won our second district championship in back-to-back seasons," FHS boys cross country coach Jason Roemer said.
