Tips from a national nonprofit prompted Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office deputies to arrest a Seguin man in connection with suspected child sexual abuse material.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in late 2025 sent Guadalupe County deputies information about the Seguin man, GCSO Lt. Zachary McBride said.

The nonprofit received information from electronic service providers that the suspect obtained the illicit materials, which eventually led deputies to the man's home, McBride said.
