Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to strengthen into a hurricane as it moves toward the Gulf Coast, with the Alabama and Florida coasts potentially seeing impacts Friday evening.

Isaias is currently forecast to strengthen to a Category 2 hurricane, with the potential to reach Category 3 strength.
