Tivy High School's varsity volleyball team secured the bi-district championship Thursday, Oct. 29, at Harlan District Gym, sweeping Medina Valley Creek View in straight sets, 25-9, 25-7, 25-8.

The Lady Antlers (28-15, 8-2 District 27-4A), ranked No. 17 in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association state poll, controlled the match from start to finish and will now turn their attention to the area round.

Tivy will face No. 20 Burnet (32-12, 10-0 District 25-4A) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Llano High School.
