Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting at a home in the Woodland Heights area Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a home in the 900 block of Omar Street shortly after 11 a.m., according to HPD.

The call initially came in as a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
