The Howard County Fair is giving back to the community with a $3,000 donation to the Howard County 4-H program, representing half of the admission revenue collected during Friday night's festivities at this year's fair.

The check was presented to Howard County 4-H President Arthur Washington, who thanked the fair board for its generosity and the opportunities the contribution will provide for local youth.

"I'm very grateful for the generosity of the fair board," Washington said.
