- A Florida mom has been arrested on charges of child neglect after she allegedly left her four children home alone for nearly a week while she flew to Las Vegas for work, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

The backstory: On Oct. 21, a child called 911 for help after her brother was hurt when a dumbbell fell on his head, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the home on Parkway Blvd. and found four children - aged 9, 11, 12, and 14 - home alone and unsupervised, OCSO said.
