SOUTHLAKE, Texas (KLTV) - Lufkin native and former Dallas Cowboy Dez Bryant has called for an investigation by the Southlake Police Department of an incident after which he was cited Sunday for assault.

Bryant, 37, said that he confronted two drivers in a restaurant parking lot, according to ESPN.

He said the drivers cut him off in traffic, and he told media outlet Outkick that he wanted to tell them to drive more safely, but that it escalated into an argument.
