UVALDE COUNTY, Texas - One person was rushed to a local hospital after they were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Uvalde, according to the city's volunteer fire department.

Fire crews responded to the collision just before 5 a.m., along FM 117, which is south of Uvalde and near County Road 111.

Details are limited, but Uvalde VFD said one unidentified person was hospitalized after the crash.
