Randy and Chelsea Rogers were honored with the New Braunfels Community Foundation's Philanthropist of the Year award, also known as the Eager award, during the fifth annual Champions of Charity luncheon Tuesday.

The couple was selected for the award for their charitable work through the Randy Rogers Family Foundation, their nonprofit organization.

"[Randy] has a true heart for New Braunfels, as well as Chelsea," NBCF Marketing Committee Chair Wes Studdard said.
