MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - A Midland man was arrested Thursday night after police said he confronted another man with a machete following claims that the man had sexually abused a child.

According to a Midland Police Department report, officers were called at about 7:02 p.m. Thursday to the area of Yellow Rose Court for a disturbance involving a weapon.

Dispatchers reported hearing screaming and people yelling in the background during the 911 call.
