GALVESTON, Texas - Tim Miller, the father of Laura Miller and founder of Texas Equusearch, was visibly emotional as the guilty verdict was read in the trial of James Elmore Jr. on Wednesday.
Speaking to KPRC 2's Bill Barajas after the verdict, Miller gave his thoughts and reaction on the verdict, decades after his daughter was murdered.
"It's been a long 42 years. These last two days, I didn't think we were going to get here. I, you know, just kind of reliving these last four years after getting with Mr. Elmore and him telling me all the facts and keeping my composure, it was difficult, difficult at best," Miller said.
