HITCHCOCK, Texas - Residents along a stretch of Highway 6 in Hitchcock are without water service after an emergency water main break was reported near Good Ol' Days restaurant.

The City of Hitchcock's Public Works Department is on scene responding to the break.

To complete repairs safely, crews shut down a section of the main water line, cutting service to portions of Highway 6 between 2nd Street and 6th Street.
