The Long Creek High School community gathered on campus Sept. 9 for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of new fine arts and athletic spaces for the school, including Dragon Stadium.

Covered under the 2024 bond and part of the school's phase two expansion, the new spaces include a parking lot and competition gym expansion as well as the addition of athletic locker rooms, a training room, auxiliary gym, a weight room, theatre and black box, choir room, art rooms and dance studio, The Herald-Zeitung previously reported.

Additionally, Dragon Stadium features a press box, eight-lane competition track, turf practice field and has a 9,000-seat capacity, according to the district's website.
