LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Mark Meurer released a statement on Wednesday saying he intends to return the salary overpayment he received when he was appointed to the Commissioner's Court, and to withdraw from the legal action to remove Jason Corley.

I immediately contacted Judge Parish and alerted him of the possible overpayment.
