WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A beloved downtown Waco coffee shop is preparing to close its doors next month, but the mission to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities will continue under a new banner.

Bitty & Beau's Coffee will cease operations at 110 Franklin Ave. on Nov. 12 as local franchise owner Mark and Amy Sauer prepares to retire.

Shortly after, nonprofit organization Friends for Life will step in to reopen the location in mid-November as Loyalhood Coffee.
