A school bus serving Alief Independent School District students arrived nearly two hours behind schedule Thursday, leaving at least one parent panicked and calling for better communication from the district.
The bus was scheduled to drop off students at Ashford Point at 3:30 p.m. but did not arrive until 5:07 p.m., according to a parent.
Joshlynn Hendley, a single mother who is physically disabled, said she depends entirely on Alief ISD transportation to get her daughter, Izzy, to and from school.
