The rhythm of the drum, the movement of traditional regalia, and the stories of generations will take center stage when father-and-son Grass Dancers Sean and Jason Soukkala of Native Pride Productions come to Goldthwaite as the featured performers for Prairie Experience 2026, Saturday, October 3, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Goldthwaite Pavilion.

Now celebrating its 17th year, Prairie Experience is the annual fundraising celebration of the Texas Botanical Gardens & Native American Interpretive Center, Inc. (TBGNAIC).

Native American cultural programming has long been at the heart of the event, giving Central Texas audiences an opportunity to encounter living traditions and learn directly from Native artists and cultural educators.
