HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A court hearing on Wednesday revealed more about what happened before two apartment complex employees were killed inside a leasing office in west Houston.

Police said the incident happened Sept. 3; officers were called after the victims were found in the apartment management office at the Park at Woodlake apartments in the 9500 block of Ella Lee Lane.

Since then, 53-year-old Derrick Duane Jackson was arrested and charged with capital murder in the case, records show.
