BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - The III Armored Corps is mourning the loss of Jean Shine, a prominent Central Texas leader and dedicated advocate for military families, veterans, and Soldiers.
Shine, who was named a Fort Hood "Good Neighbor" in 2001, served as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA).
In this role, she acted as a vital liaison between the military installation and the surrounding Central Texas community, advocating tirelessly for the well-being of service members and their families.
