DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Two Denison girls who had their bikes stolen in early August received a summer surprise from the Denison Police Department, which partnered with Walmart and Academy to get them back on the road.

Mia and Harper, best friends, had spent the summer riding their bikes - one a gift from a grandfather, the other purchased with chore money.

Unfortunately, security footage captured two suspects walking down the street and wheeling the bikes away late at night.
