AUSTIN, Texas (KCBD) - Texas Mutual Insurance Company has awarded nearly $300,000 in grant funding to several Lubbock nonprofits serving students and families across the South Plains.

The grants are part of Texas Mutual's $8 million investment in nonprofit organizations across the state.

This year's Lubbock recipients include Communities in Schools of the South Plains, Catholic Charities of Lubbock and Lubbock Impact.
